3. After measuring is finished, the result appears in the device display.
CAUTION
•
DO NOT do the test while charging the device.
•
Clean the electrodes before and after each measurement.
•
Wash and dry your hands before use.
•
DO NOT pour or spray liquids onto the electrodes, and DO NOT allow any liquid to enter any
openings in the device.
•
Make the device thoroughly dry before reusing.
•
Remain quiet and calm for approximately 4 to 5 minutes before taking measurements.
•
To avoid external disturbance, please perform measurements in a quiet environment.
•
During the test, the hands should NOT be touching each other.
•
To obtain a good ECG reading, measurements must be taken correctly.
•
Please read the instructions carefully before taking a measurement:
•
Make sure that the electrodes are directly touching your skin.
•
If your hands are too dry, wipe them with a damp towel so that they are slightly moist.
•
If the electrodes are dirty, wipe any dirt off with a soft cloth moistened with disinfectant
alcohol or a cotton swab.
• DO NOT move during the measurement. Movement, including talking, coughing, or
sneezing, during measurement, can affect the accuracy of the measurement results.
•
Abnormal ECG tracings may be caused by many different factors, including:
•
Coronary artery disease,
•
Electrolyte imbalances in your blood (such as sodium or potassium),
• Changes in your heart muscle,
•
Injury from a heart attack,
•
The healing process after heart surgery.
