FLASH MODE
Opening the Flash
You need to manually raise the flash before switching to the flash mode.
To open the flash:
Push the button with the Flash icon next to the flash. The flash raises up.
Closing the Flash
To close the flash:
Push down on to top of the flash
until you hear a ‘click’ sound that indicates the flash is closed.
Note
: When the flash is closed, Flash Mode is automatically set to Flash off.
The Flash offers additional light source (usually used in a low-light environment). You can capture
an image using one of the following Flash Modes:
Forced On, Auto Flash, Red-Eye Reduction
Using the Flash
There are several Flash Mode options available on your camera. The options appear on the
Photo Capture Mode LCD screen in sequence:
Forced Off (No Flash), Forced On, Auto Flash, Red-Eye Reduction
To select the Flash mode:
1)
Set the Mode Dial to the desired Photo Capture Shooting Mode.
2)
Open the Flash by pressing the button next to the Flash.
3)
Press the
UP
Quick Function button until you arrive at your desired Flash Mode. The Flash
Mode is displayed on the LCD screen.
