• From time to time check the power cord integrity.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should be re-
placed by the manufacturer, a maintenance
service or similar qualified personnel to avoid
danger.
• Do not use the unit if the power cord or the pow-
er plug is damaged, if the unit works improperly
and after it was dropped.
• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is
detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit
and apply to any authorized service center at the
contact addresses given in the warranty certifi-
cate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
• To avoid damages, transport the unit in the origi-
nal package only.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of
children and disabled persons.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature.
• Unpack the unit and remove any packaging ma-
terials and advertising stickers.
• If there is a protective film on the operating sur-
face (7), remove it.
• Keep the original package.
• Read the safety measures and operating recom-
mendations.
• Check the delivery set.
• Examine the unit for damages; if the unit is dam-
aged, do not plug it into the mains.
• Make sure that the indicated specifications of
the power supply voltage of the unit correspond
to the specifications of your mains. When the unit
is used in the mains with 60 Hz frequency, it does
not need any additional settings.
• To remove the dust clean the garment steamer
with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and then wipe
it dry.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE GARMENT STEAMER
ATTENTION!
You can use the garment steamer for quick
steaming of clothes and for reshaping them. It
is recommended to additionally use an iron for
items with deep folds.
- The garment steamer is intended for household
use only.
- The garment steamer is intended for delicate
fabrics and for smoothing of folds on clothes or
furniture.
- If you have doubts about steaming any certain
kind of fabric or clothes, try steaming the fabrics
from the inside.
- When steaming delicate fabrics, hold the steam-
er at a 5-15 cm distance from the item.
- The brush attachment (8) removes lint and dirt
from the clothes, makes smoothing of the folds
easier and allows to steam thick and heavy fabrics.
STEAMER OPERATION
Water selection
• Fill the water tank (3) with tap water which was
additionally cleaned with a domestic filter.
• If tap water is hard, we recommend mixing it with
distilled water in proportion 1:1. If tap water is
too hard, mix it with distilled water in proportion
1:2 or use distilled water only.
ATTENTION!
Before removing the water tank (3) make sure
that the power plug is not inserted into the
mains socket.
• Make sure that the power plug is not inserted
into the socket.
• Open the water inlet lid (1).
• Fill the tank (6) with water and close the lid (1)
up tightly. Do not exceed the maximal level mark.
Maximal water tank (6) capacity is 250 ml.
• Do not fill the tank (6) with perfume additives,
carbonated water, chemicals etc.
Switching the steamer on/off
• Hold the steamer by the handle (4) or put it on
the heat-resistant base.
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket, the
indicator (5) will light up.
• Once the operating surface (7) reaches the set
point, the indicator (5) will go out and you can
start steaming.
• To switch the steamer off, unplug the power cord
plug from the mains socket.
Note: - when switching the unit on for the first time,
foreign smell can appear. It is normal.
Steaming recommendations
• Before using the steamer, clean the steam cham-
ber; for this, direct the outgoing steam onto a cloth,
for example, try to smooth out a kitchen towel.
• If the water tank (6) becomes empty during the
operation, unplug the unit before removing the
tank (6) and refilling it.
• Never steam clothes on a person, use a hanger.
• Make sure that the pockets of the clothes are
empty, fasten the upper button.
• Hang the clother on the hanger and make sure that
the clothes do not touch other objects. Make sure
that there are no other objects behing the hanging
clothes which can be damaged by hot steam.
• Hold the steamer by the handle (4) or put it on
the heat-resistant base.
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket, the
indicator (5) will light up.
• Once the operating surface (7) reaches the set
point, the indicator (5) will go out and you can
start steaming.
