• Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is
detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit
and apply to any authorized service center from
the contact address list given in the warranty
certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.

Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of
children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE
ONLY, ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE
IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS
PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low tem-
perature keep it for at least three hours at room
temperature before switching on.
–
Take the coffee maker out of the package and
remove the packaging materials.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case
of damages.
–
Make sure that operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
–
Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, wash all removable parts (2, 7, 12, 13, 14)
with warm water and neutral detergent and dry
them.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
Before making coffee wash the coffee maker boiler.
• Remove the water tank (2), fill it with cold water
up to the «MAX» mark and install it back to its
place.
•
Insert the coffee filter (12 or 13) into the holder
(7), do not add ground coffee into the filter (12
or 13).
•
Install the filter holder (7) back to its installation
place. The filter holder (7) ledges should match
the groves on the boiler, after that turn the fil-
ter holder (7) handle to the utmost right posi-
tion «LOCK».
•
Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (6).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
•
Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the
button (9) « », the light indicator will light up
and start flashing. Wait until water in the boiler
heats up, the light indicator will be glowing con-
stantly.
• Press the water supply button (11) « », the
pump will switch on for 3 seconds; after a
pause the pump will switch on and water will
be supplied constantly. After the cup is filled
with water, switch the water supply off by
pressing the button (11) «
» again and empty
the cup.
•
Depending on the cup capacity repeat this pro-
cedure several times until the boiler is clean.
ATTENTION!
–
Do not remove the filter holder (7) during coffee
maker operation.
Rinsing the cappuccinator pipe (4)
•
Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (2).
•
Place a suitable bowl under the cappuccinator
pipe (4) and the tip (5).
•
Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the but-
ton (9) « ».
• Press the steam supply on-button (10) « » and
wait until the pilot light stops flashing and glows
constantly.
•
Slowly turn the steam supply control knob (3)
counterclockwise, steam will start going out
from the tip (5) of the cappuccinator pipe (4),
be careful while working with outgoing steam;
after 10-15 seconds set the control knob (3) to
the position «OFF».
•
Switch the steam supply mode off by pressing
the button (10) « » again.
•
Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the but-
ton (9) « ».
•
Remove the tray (6), drain off water from it,
install it back into place and install the grid into
place.
•
The coffee maker is ready to make coffee.
Note: - if you don’t perform any actions, the coffee
maker will switch off after 30 seconds, and the but-
ton (9) illumination will go out.
MAKING ESPRESSO
•
Remove the water tank (2), fill it with cold water
up to the «MAX» mark and install it back to its
place. Make sure that the water level in the
tank (2) is not below the mark «MIN», regularly
add water to the tank (2).
•
Put ground coffee in the filter (12 or 13) using
the measuring spoon (14), slightly tamp the
