23 Software update

The latest software is available on the VITA homepage at

https://www.vita-zahnfabrik.com/

under

Documents & Media / Download center / Product information /

Software Updates.

Once the device type has been selected, the latest software can be selected
and copied to a USB flash drive. Instructions for use and information on the
update can be viewed.

The software version on the USB flash drive must be newer (higher)

than the version installed on the device. The software version installed on
the device is shown under settings / information (see section 21.1).

Installing the latest software:

•

Switch off the device using the main switch

•

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the device

•

Switch on the device using the main switch

During installation of the update, the red LED flashes. Once the update has
been completed, the system is automatically restarted.
