Reset RSL Check this box and click Submit to reset
the minimum and maximum receive signal level (RSL)
measurements that the radio experiences, which tend
to fluctuate due to daily cycles, weather, and other
intermittent degradations.
3.3.4 Setup–Modulator (Transmitter) and Demodulator (Receiver) Screen
Tip When setting Modulation ,
Core Channels 1 through 4
and Symbol Rates , check
the Utilization value in the
upper right of the screen.
If you exceed 100% of
utilization, use the
instructions in
Section 3.3.5,
Determining Optimal System
Utilization
on page 3-8 to
modify the values for optimal
system utilization.
Note The figure to the right shows
the Setup-Modulator
(transmitter) screen. The
Setup-Demodulator screen is
very similar.
Power
Amplifier On =Enable the power amplifier.
Off =Do not enable the power amplifier.
Test Tone On =Used only during antenna alignment,
enable to send a test signal to the antenna for
aligning the antenna to transmit the best
signal.
Off =Normal operation.
IF input Internal =Normal operation.
External =An external device provides input
to the DXL5000.
