In the fields for Duplicate in the General Preferences window, enter an X offset of 1.5 inches and 0 for
the Y offset. Click on OK to set this as the duplicate distance.

With the circle selected, either select Edit, then click on Duplicate from the top menu bar, or press
CTRL D on your computer's keyboard to duplicate the circle.

Continue duplicating each circle, until seven circles have been created. Using this method, each circle
will be spaced exactly 1.5 inches apart.
