13.4 Z form Maneuver

Some drives have bezels that extend out from the front of the drive face. This can cause the disc to catch on
the edge of the bezel of a higher drive as it is being lowered into one of the below drives. Enabling the Z
form Maneuver will allow the robotic arm to lower the disc off center from the front of the drives to clear any
protruding obstacles like the bezels, and then center the disc directly above the extended writer tray just
before the disc is loaded.

To enable the Z form Maneuver function:

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select the

Z form Maneuver

menu and

press the

ENT/Enter

button to enter that menu.

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select whether the Z form Maneuver is

on or off, and press the

ENT/Enter

button to select that option.

13.5 Robot Speed Mode *(Not available on all systems)

Use the

Robot Speed Mode

menu option to adjust the robots movement speed for the disc loading and

unloading process. Safe Mode will provide better reliability and is recommended for overnight production.
Turbo Mode will provide faster performance, but not recommended for overnight production. Choose
between

Safe Mode

and

Turbo Mode

to suite your production needs.

To change the Robots Speed Mode function:

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select the 5.

Robot Speed Mode

menu and press the

ENT/Enter

button to enter that menu.

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select whether

Robot Speed Mode

is

set to Safe Mode or Turbo Mode, and press the

ENT/Enter

button to

select that option.

13.6 Fast Boot up

Use this setting to enable/disable the robot

’s calibration performed during the boot-up procedure for each

drive. By enabling this feature, the robotic arm

’s picking and placement performance could be affected.

To enable the

Fast Boot Up

function:

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select the 6.

Fast Boot Up

menu and

press the

ENT/Enter

button to enter that menu.

Use the

Up or

Down

button to select whether

Fast Boot Up

is ON or

OFF, and press the

ENT/Enter

button to select that option.
