9.15 Checking installation
Start the test run by pressing the OK
button – this does not activate the
mowing blade.
As the robotic mower follows the edge,
walk behind it and ensure:
– that the robotic mower follows the edge
of the mowing area as planned,
– that the clearances to obstacles and the
borders of the mowing area are correct,
– that the docking stations are crossed
correctly,
– that docking in and out takes place
correctly.
The distance covered is shown on the
display – this metric specification is
required for setting
starting points
at the
edge of the mowing area.
Make settings on the iMow app or on the
machine under the iMow TeaM / TeaM
Installations menu. (

Read off the displayed value at the
required location and write it down.
Manually set starting points in the
iMow app after initial installation.
The following of edges is automatically
interrupted by obstacles, during operation
on excessively steep slopes or by pressing
the STOP button.

If the test run has been interrupted
automatically, correct the position of the
perimeter wire and remove any
obstacles.

Check the position of the robotic mower
before continuing edge following. The
machine must either be located on the
perimeter wire or within the mowing
area with the front facing the perimeter
wire.

Contact your specialist dealer if the
measures described above do not
result in a correct wire signal.
If an external docking zone has
been installed, at least one starting
point inside the mowing area must
be defined after initial installation is
complete.
Define the starting frequency on the
iMow app so that 0 of 10 mowing
ops (0/10) are started in the
docking zone. (
The robotic mower alternately
follows the edge of the mowing
area in both directions during
running operation after initial
installation. Edge following should
therefore also be checked in both
directions during initial installation.
The test run is used to define the
home area
of the robotic mower.
If the robotic mower is not receiving
a GPS signal before the test run
starts, the text "Waiting for GPS"
will appear on the display. The
robotic mower will start the test run
after a few minutes despite no GPS
signal being received.
