SCSI Enable/Disable

Jumper JPA1 allows you to enable or disable the SCSI Controller. The default
setting is pins 1-2 to enable all four headers.

Alarm Reset

The system will notify you in the event of a power supply failure. This feature
assumes that Super-micro redundant power supply units are installed in the chassis.
If you only have a single power supply installed, you should not connect anything to
this header (JPR1) to prevent false alarms. See the table below:

Power Force-ON

Jumper JPF allows you to enable or disable the function of Power Force-On. If
enabled, the power will always stay on automatically. If this function is disabled, the
user needs to press the power button to power on the system.

Onboard Indicators

GLAN LEDs

The G-bit Ethernet LAN ports (located beside the VGA port) have two LEDs. The
yellow LED indicates activity while the other LED may be green, orange or off to
indicate the speed of the connection. See the table at right for the functions
associated with the second LED.
