6. Configuring PSTN

Note:

This section only applicable when product is V-COP GOLD-PSTN.

Emergency is reported by the means PSTN, here system reports alarm condition to the configured

numbers. VCOP reports using voice calls to landline or mobile numbers. User can configure up to

10 voice numbers. User can record voice message for 16 seconds in the desired language. This

message plays back when VCOP dials voice numbers for alarm reporting.

Note

: PSTN menu is shown if VCOP has PSTN module installed.

To do PSTN configuration, press

MENU 3

key. Enter the pin for the desired user. Then LCD

appears as shown below.

Report mode menu is used for selection of reporting mode.

Voice

mode: Reports the prerecorded voice message to the configured numbers.

CID

mode: Reports

CMS

using Contact ID protocol. Refer section 7 for CID configuration.
