Once the new number is configured or changed, the SMS is sent to new and old number. The SMS 

text is as follows. 

‘Authentication number changed to 919811013232’  

5.4  Comm. Test for Communication testing 

To check the communication and connection are properly done, 

Comm. Test 

menu is used. To 

activate the 

Comm. Test 

press 

MENU 1

 key. 

 

 

 

When user activates this test, it sends test SMS to first SMS reporting number and call first voice 

reporting number. This test is applicable to only first reporting number of SMS and voice. It shows 

reporting status as given below. 

 

If User performed comm. Test and SIM card is not mounted then 

the LCD shows SIM card error message. 

 

 

If User performed comm. Test and SMS reporting number is not 

saved then the LCD shows SMS no error message. 

 

 

 

 

If User performed comm. Test and voice reporting number is not 

saved then the LCD shows voice no error message.
