Renaming Your PCs
You many want to consider renaming your networked PCs. Using names
everyone in your family understands will make it easier to find media
content on your PCs. For example, you could use names like “Dad’s PC,”
“Mom’s PC,” “Living Room PC,” etc.
For Windows XP:

on the Windows status bar.

Properties
.

tab, then click the

button.

Computer Name

OK
