General Troubleshooting
This section can help the operator when a problem arises. It gives basic guidelines if something on
the woodchipper is not working correctly. If the procedures in this section do not solve the
problem, the owner should contact the Victory Service department for assistance.

The flywheel head slows,
but the tractor does not.
PTO shaft shear bolt has broken.
Replace shear bolt from PTO shaft.
Disk stalls or stops.

Obstructed discharge.
•
Plugged flywheel.
•
Use a branch or similar object to
clean the chute.
•
Clean the flywheel housing.
Low infeed power
•
Dull knife blades.
•
Obstructed discharge.
•
Improper blade clearance.
•
Renew the knives.
•
Clear the discharge chute.
•
Adjust clearance between knives
and counter knife.
Feed rollers stop
unexpectedly.

Hydraulic oil level is low.

Air in the hydraulic system.

Key on hydraulic pump shaft
