If the saddle is not secure or you can close the clamping
lever without using additional force, you should re-adjust the
pre-tension.
•
If you cannot adjust the clamping lever, you should ask your
specialist dealer to inspect the clamping lever.

Folding hinge on frame
10.5.1
Basic information
The folding hinge on the frame allows you to prepare the frame for
folding quickly and without the use of tools.
1. Open and close the fastener on the folding hinge and listen
for unusual noises.
•
If you hear any unusual noises, you should ask your spe-
cialist dealer to inspect the fastener at the folding hinge.
2.
Clean the fastener and the folding hinge.
3.
Close and lock the fastener on the folding hinge.

1. Push the locking mechanism in the direction of travel.
2. Turn the clamping lever outwards (see Fig.
“Opening folding
hinge” ).

Closing the folding hinge on the frame
The folding hinge will lock into place automatically when the clamp-
ing lever is closed.
1.
Unfold the frame.
2. Fold down the clamping lever to the frame until it touches the
frame and you can hear and feel the fastener lock into place.
• Before locking the clamping lever, make sure that the catch
on the lock is lined up with the slot in the clamping lever.
note: The fastener will automatically move into the locked position
when the clamping lever is flipped.
3.
Check whether the folding hinge is locked properly by pulling
on the clamping lever.
