Incorrect folding and unfolding of the pedals.
Risk of injury!
•
Make sure that your fingers are never caught in the fold-
ing mechanism.
• Wear protective gloves if necessary.
1. Hold the bicycle firmly by
the frame.
2. Reach into the pedal hole
and pull the slider out (see
Fig.
“Folding pedal” , left).
• Fold the pedal inwards if
you wish to fold up the
bicycle.
• Fold the pedal outwards if you wish to ride the bicycle (see
Fig. “Folding pedal” , right).
3.
Make sure that the slider has locked into place and that you
can no longer fold or unfold the pedals.

Clamping lever on the handlebar
10.2.1
Basic information
The clamping lever on the handlebar makes it possible for you to
adjust the handlebar quickly and without using tools.
1. Open and close the clamping lever and listen for unusual
noises.
•
If you hear any unusual noises, you should ask your spe-
cialist dealer to inspect the clamping lever.
2.
Clean the clamping lever.
3.
Close and lock the clamping lever.
