Media Settings
– Click
Add Media
to specify the type of media that will be sent when a trigger is acti-
vated.
“Media name”-
Unique name for media.
There are three
Media Type
, snapshot, video clip and system log.
Snapshot
“Source”-
The source of video stream, stream1 - 4.
“Send _ pre-event images”-
The number of pre-event images (up to 7).
“Send _ post-event images”-
The number of post-event images (up to 7).
“File Name Prefix”-
The prefix name added to the file name of the snapshot images.
“Add date and time suffix to file name”-
Check to add timing information as file name suffix.
Click
Save
to enable settings and
Close
to exit.
Video Clip
“Source”-
The source of video clip.
“Pre-event recording”-
Interval of pre-event recording, in seconds (up to 9).
There are two limitations for video clip file.
“Maximum duration”-
The maximum recording duration, in seconds (up to 10).
“Maximum file size”-
The maximum file size allowed.
“File name prefix”-
Prefix name added to the file name of the video clip.

System log –
Media is added to system log.

to exit.
Recording
(Advanced Mode)
The camera supports recording on network storage. The method of editing a recording item is the same as in
the Application screen. To record on network storage, add network storage server in Application first. Click
on
Server
to setup the network storage. If using the SD card, be sure to format it before using it the first
time.
