“
Maximum Exposure Time
”
adjusts the maximum exposure time in different environments,
1/5 -1/480 seconds.
“
Exposure Level
” manually sets the exposure level from 1 to 8 (dark to bright); the default value is 4. Note
that this setting affects autoiris functions and may require adjustment to achieve required image.
“
Enable AGC
” manually sets the Automatic Gain Control level (2X, 4X, 8X); the default value is 4X.
“
Enable BLC
” allows the camera to adjust to the best light conditions (Backlight Compensation) in any envi-
ronment so that objects can be seen clearly; check the box to enable this feature.
Press
Preview
to view the image and fine-tune the settings. When the image is acceptable, press
Save
to
set the image settings. Click on
Restore
to recall the original settings without incorporating the changes;
click
Close
to exit the screen.
To configure the special sensor setting, click
Profile
. Check the
“Enable this profile”
box and select
Day
mode
,
Night mode
or
Schedule mode
(manually enter a time range). Configure the
Exposure
settings as
previously described. Click
Save
and then
Close
.
Click on
Viewing Window
(Advanced Mode) to set the region of interest and output frame rate for each the
multiple streams. For Stream 1 and 2, users define the Region of Interest (viewing region) and the Output
Frame Rate (size of the live view window). For Stream 3 (Mobile stream), users define the Region of Interest
(max of 1468 x 1200) but the Output Frame Rate is fixed at 176x144. Stream 4 (Global view stream), the full
view of the video is captured and streams out at the maximum resolution of 1600x1200. All items in the Re-
gion of Interest should not be greater than the Output Frame Size.
Select the
“Video Stream”
to be configured. Select a
“Region of Interest”
from the dropdown list; a float-
ing frame is available for custom sizing. Choose the “
Output Frame Size”
from the dropdown list. When set-
tings are complete, select
Save
and then
Close
to exit the screen.
Click on
Cropping Setting
(Advanced Mode) to trim the image to include only the necessary area. Select a
“Captured area”
from the dropdown list; the floating frame will resize accordingly and can be customized to
the desired size. If the area width is under 800 and height under 600, the maximum frame rate is up to
30 fps; larger areas reduce the frame rate to 15 fps. When settings are complete, select
Save
and then
Close
to exit the screen. Cropping mode clears the settings in the Viewing Window and disables Motion De-
tection, Privacy Mask and Preset Position.
