XX091-01-01 Rev 902 AurorAcorD

Programming

  23

Note: The following settings, Format, Main Display Sequencing and Spot Monitor Sequencing, will not take

place if the AurorAcorD is displaying a menu, help screen or mechanical pan/tilt/zoom mode when an
alarm activates.

4.  Define the display format when alarms are active: No change (stays in the current display format), Full

screen, Full Alarm, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, mixed border or split. Display formats are shown in the
Operation chapter. All choices except Full  Alarm define the format of the video when an alarm
activates, but do not select the alarm video for display on the monitors. The Full Alarm setting
will display the lowest numbered camera’s alarm video in full screen mode. When the alarm is
acknowledged, the display will return to the pre-alarm format, regardless of the Format chosen here. For
example, cameras 1, 2, and 6 go into alarm mode. Prior to any alarms being activated, the display is 4x4.
If the Format is set to Full Alarm, video from camera 1 will display in full screen mode. After the
alarm is acknowledged, the format will return to 4x4 mode. If the Format had been just Full Screen,
instead of Full Alarm, the format would change to full screen but with the pre-alarm video
displaying, which may or may not be alarm video.

5.  Sequencing may be turned on or off when an alarm activates. Use the Main Display Sequence and Spot

Monitor Sequence settings to make this choice. After the alarm is acknowledged, the display will return to
the pre-alarm state, which may or may not be sequencing.
