AurorAcorD CD Programs
The AurorAcorD CD, supplied in your accessory kit, contains four programs:
•
CD Player, used to play back AurorAcorD CDs
•
Floppy Player, used to play back AurorAcorD floppy disks (not applicable for AurorAcorD
model AURC-CD320 and AURC-CD500)
•
Calculator, used to calculate recording duration settings, and
•
Codec, a driver needed to playback AurorAcorD floppies using Windows Media Player.
You may use the CD on a personal computer running one of the following operating systems: Microsoft
Windows 98
®
, Windows ME
®
, Windows NT4
®
Service Pack 4 (minimum), Windows 2000
®
, Windows XP
®
(all
versions). For all Windows
®
operating systems, use Microsoft's
®
recommended system (not minimum)
requirements for multimedia systems and use Microsoft's Windows
®
Update to keep the operating system up
to date. The PC must meet or exceed the following requirements: Pentium III at 400 MHz, 128 Mb RAM,
SVGA 800x600 32 bit color, 40 Mb free hard drive space, 8x (minimum) CD-ROM drive and Windows
®
Multimedia Player.
CD Player
Video and audio data may be played back on a PC using the AurorAcorD CD Player. Data must have been
archived to CD using the Archive CD function. In order to record and subsequently play back audio, audio
recording must be enabled and the audio AGC must be set. The File and Options Menus are shown below.
Select Open to open a video file with extension DAT.
You may send this video image to a printer using Print Screen.
Exit the AurorAcorD CD Player using this command.
Place a check mark beside Continuous Play to play the file
repeatedly until the Stop button is pressed. Remove the check mark
to play the file once.
Select NTSC or PAL video mode. Changing the video mode will
close the AurorAcorD CD Player program. When you restart the
program, the new video mode will be selected.
