3. Use the 1-16 keys to define which cameras will be recorded. An asterisk indicates that the camera is
included in the record list. Cameras without an asterisk in this list will not be recorded. Cameras in the
record list will be recorded one after another in ascending camera number order, unless you define
another method using the Modify Camera Sequence screen, discussed below.

2. Define the order that alarm video will be recorded: More Often, No Change or Only. The Only setting
should be used to only record alarm video. The More Often setting increases the number of times that the
video from cameras in alarm will be recorded relative to normal video, which is recorded in ascending
camera order number as defined in the Record List. Alarms are discussed in the previous section.
3. Access the Motion setting and refer to the step above to define the order for cameras with motion
detected in their field of view (the same settings apply). Refer to the Motion Detection chapter for more
information on motion detection settings.
4. Access the High Priority setting and set it to More Often, No Change or Only. The Only setting will cause
the AurorAcorD to only record cameras with their Update Priority set to High (refer to the Defining Update
Priorities for Live Display section). The More Often setting will re-order the list of recorded cameras so
that cameras with Update Priority set to High are recorded more often than those set to Normal.
Note: The No Change setting for any of the fields on the Modify Camera Sequence screen will cause
cameras to be recorded in the order of ascending camera number, with only the cameras enabled on
the Record List being recorded. However, if Only or More Often is chosen for any of the fields on the
Modify Camera Sequence screen, cameras will be recorded whether or not they are enabled on the
Record List.
