Receiver Commands Description
AA Reads summary of all active alarms; a set bit means alarm
active. Returns HR:hhhh 4 hex nibbles, LSB is cam 1. For
example, HR:8001 is returned if both camera 1 and camera
16 have any alarms active.
AIx Auto iris. x = 1 to start, x = 0 to stop.
APx Autopan. x = 1 to start, x = 0 to stop.
AXn, x Controls auxiliary functions. n = 1-6 for aux 1-6, x = 1 to start,
x = 0 to stop.
CA Reads receiver communication failures.
FFx Focuses far. x = 1 to focus far, x = 0 to stop.
FNx Focuses near. x = 1 to focus near, x = 0 to stop.
IA Reads input alarms.
ICx Closes iris. x = 1 to close iris, x = 0 to stop.
IOx Opens iris. x = 1 to open iris, x = 0 to stop.
LA Reads video loss alarms.
LSx Changes lens speed at the receiver. x = 1 to change speed, x
= 0 to complete the change of lens speed.
MA Reads motion alarms.
PLxxx Pans left. xxx = 0-255. Send PL000 to stop panning. Note that
a PR command will cancel a current PL command.
PPxx Recalls a preset position. xx = 01-99. Before issuing a PP
command, a current TU, TD, PR or PL should be set to zero.
PRxxx Pans right. xxx = 0-255. Send PR000 to stop panning. Note
that a PL command will cancel a current PR command.
PSxx Stores a preset position. xx = 01-99.
RA Reads receiver alarms.
RR Reads the receiver response and returns HR:rs,pr,sc where rs
is the hex-encoded receiver status byte: AP1234ip,
A
indicates a receiver alarm, P indicates that the receiver is
solving a preset, 1234 indicates which aux is On., i indicates
auto iris On, p indicates auto pan On, pr is preset 1-99 and sc
is sector 1-16 or 99 if there is no sector information from the
receiver.
SRxx Selects the current receiver. xx = 01-16.
TDxxx Tilts down. xxx = 0-255. Send TD000 to stop tilting. Note that
a TU command will cancel a current TD command.
TUxxx Tilts up. xxx = 0-255. Send TU000 to stop tilting. Note that a
TD command will cancel a current TU command.
ZIx Zooms in. x = 1 to zoom in, x = 0 to stop.
ZOx Zooms out. x = 1 to zoom out, x = 0 to stop.
Jog Shuttle Commands Description
SF Shuttle fast forward (single speed).
SB Shuttle rewind (single speed).
JF Jog frame advance forward (plus).
JB Jog frame advance reverse (minus).
Note: To stop an active shuttle command, send the command again (for example, send “SF” to start shuttle
fast forward and then “SF” again to stop the fast forward operation).
