Receiver Commands
Description
AA
Reads summary of all active alarms; a set bit means alarm
active. Returns HR:hhhh 4 hex nibbles, LSB is cam 1. For
example, HR:8001 is returned if both camera 1 and camera
16 have any alarms active.
AIx
Auto iris. x = 1 to start, x = 0 to stop.
APx
Autopan. x = 1 to start, x = 0 to stop.
AXn, x
Controls auxiliary functions. n = 1-6 for aux 1-6, x = 1 to start,
x = 0 to stop.
CA
Reads receiver communication failures.
FFx
Focuses far. x = 1 to focus far, x = 0 to stop.
FNx
Focuses near. x = 1 to focus near, x = 0 to stop.
IA
Reads input alarms.
ICx
Closes iris. x = 1 to close iris, x = 0 to stop.
IOx
Opens iris. x = 1 to open iris, x = 0 to stop.
LA
Reads video loss alarms.
LSx
Changes lens speed at the receiver. x = 1 to change speed, x
= 0 to complete the change of lens speed.
MA
Reads motion alarms.
PLxxx
Pans left. xxx = 0-255. Send
PL000
to stop panning. Note that

command will cancel a current

PPxx
Recalls a preset position. xx = 01-99. Before issuing a PP
command, a current TU, TD, PR or PL should be set to zero.

Jog Shuttle Commands
Description
SF
Shuttle fast forward (single speed).
SB
Shuttle rewind (single speed).
JF
Jog frame advance forward (plus).
JB
Jog frame advance reverse (minus).
Note: To stop an active shuttle command, send the command again (for example, send “SF” to start shuttle
fast forward and then “SF” again to stop the fast forward operation).
