Perform the following procedure to run a previously defined macro, including the macros provided by Vicon.

1. Press the Macro key to display the Macro Selection screen.

2. Press the number key to run macro 1-15 or press 16 to run a demonstration. Macros 1-4 are provided by

Vicon and allow you to quickly access the Time + Date Search screen, Alarm Search screen, Playback
Motion Search screen and CD-RW Archive Setup screens, respectively.

Example: A macro can essentially perform a camera tour if you record the macro with a series of pan-and-tilt

commands or preset callups to a receiver.

Using the PC Keyboard

You may connect a standard PC keyboard or a wireless PC keyboard to any one of the RJ-45 connectors on
the front or back of the unit. The PC keyboard may be used to easily type titles for your cameras and macros.
It may also be used to key in any function that you can initiate from the AurorAcorD front panel. Use the figure
below to determine which key on the PC keyboard correlates to an AurorAcorD key.
