Chapter 3 OneCheck Testing
OneCheck PON
You can run GPON and XGSPON tests up to 10 G from here.
1. Connect the SFP port on the meter to your network. See "GPON and XGSPON
connections" on page 53 .
2. From the Companion menu, select OneCheck PON. The OneCheck PON screen appears.
3. Select a profile for the test, or create a new one. See "Profile Manager" on page 45
for more information .
4. Enter the following (all information must come from the ONT device being emulated):
registration ID, serial number, and vendor, as necessary.
5. Select the location for the test.
6. Start the test by selecting the Start or Delayed Start buttons at the bottom of the
screen. After a few minutes, the results are displayed.

To run a Delayed Start test from a safe distance outside the home, give the
Companion to the customer, have them go to the location to test, and press the
Play button on the Companion. See "Delayed Start testing" on page 87.

For more details, select a section of the test.

When finished, you can run another test by selecting New Location .

To see all tests or save the reports, select Job View . See "Creating a report" on
page 85.
