Adjust the height of the pads relative to the rim’s braking surface. The pads have
2.5mm of up/down adjustment using a combination of two 1.25mm spacers above and/or
below the pad.

Lightly tighten the brake pad holder bolt to hold the pads in place.

Run the front brake cable through the drive-side cable retainer loop

small sealing grommet

onto the cable.
Continue running the brake cable through the non-drive side cable retainer loop, then guide
the brake cable sheath through the drive-side cable retainer loop. Place the sealing grommet
on the sheath.

tight so that the brake provides the desired amount of brake lever throw. Make sure the cable
release dial is in the engaged (closed) position (F

Tighten the cable pinch bolt, then squeeze the lever several times to make sure the cable
housings are fully seated at all points.

With the brake lever squeezed, tighten the brake pad holder bolts to 55 in-lbf (6.2 Nm).
With the brake levers still squeezed tight, thread the toe-in adjuster screws in until they touch
