and how to assign jobs to blank magazine slots
is described in the documentation for
DENTALCNC.
6.4.4 Change position of the blank
magazine
When you mount blanks to a blank magazine slot, you
must use the change position. Otherwise, the blanks in
your machine will not correspond to the blank posi-
tions assigned in DENTALCNC.
Never mount blanks to a different position,
even if the position is easily accessible. The
machine may load the wrong blanks, which can
result in unusable machining results and broken
tools.
The change position is the position where the blank
frame is oriented vertically in the blank magazine.
Every blank magazine slot can be moved into the
change position. The change position is shown in the
following figure:

6.4.5 Mounting discs & block holders to the
blank magazine
You can mount blanks to the blank magazine while the
machine is operating.
To relocate blanks to different blank magazine
positions, do not simply swap them around . The
blanks in the blank magazine must correspond
to the blanks in the virtual blank magazine in
DENTALCNC.
1. Move the desired blank magazine slot into the
change position via DENTALCNC. Make sure the
blank magazine slot is available in DENTALCNC.
2. Open the blank magazine door.
3. Remove the blank frame or block holder from the
change position:
a. With one hand keep pressed the blank frame
release (marked orange).
b. With the other hand pull the blank frame or
holder (marked blue) to the right and remove
it.

4. To mount a disc to a blank frame, do the following:
a. Loosen the 4 fixing screws (marked orange)
of the blank frame and open the fixing brack-
ets (marked blue). Do not remove the screws.

b. Remove any object from the blank frame.
c. Insert the desired disc into the blank frame.
d. If the disc has been marked for remounting,
rotate the disc until the marking is aligned
with the corresponding recesses (marked
orange) in the blank frame (

