Using your Vertu phone 31
Taking videos
1. To start the video camera, give a long press on the [Camera] key on the
left side of your Vertu phone, or select Menu » Additions » Video from
the stand-by display.

Or start the camera by following the steps in "Taking photos" (page 30), and
then press the [Joystick] key (Right) to switch to the video mode.
2. To zoom in or out, move the [Joystick] key (Up) or (Down).
3. To start recording a video, press the [Joystick] key (Centre) or press the
[Camera] key.

To pause the recording, select Pause ; to resume the recording, select
Continue . To stop the recording, select Stop .
Music player
Open the music player to listen to music tracks, recordings or other MP3,
MP4, AAC, eAAC+ or Windows Media Player sound files that you have
transferred to your Vertu phone using File Manager in Vertu PC Suite.
To open the music player, select Menu » Additions » Music player from
the stand-by display.
Music files that you transfer to your Vertu phone are automatically added to
the list of songs in the music player.
Memory
Your Vertu phone has 4GB internal memory. When the memory is full, a
message is displayed. If this is the case, delete some files from the
memory before continuing.
You can check the memory usage status following any of the steps below:

Stopwatch
The Vertu stopwatch function enables you to measure time, take
intermediate times or take lap times in 1/10 of a second intervals.
Split timing
1. From the stand-by display, select Menu » Time » Stopwatch .

If you have not changed the default configuration, you can also launch the
stopwatch from the
Go to shortcut list (page 26) available by pressing the
[Joystick] key (Up) from the stand-by display.
2. Select Options » Split timing .
3. Press the [Camera] key on the left side of your Vertu phone or the
Number [4] key to start the stopwatch.

The second hand of the analogue clock shown at the bottom of the display
begins to move and measurement is started. The digital clock shown on the
top left of the display also starts to count.
Tip: Press and hold the [END] key to stop the music player.
