6.6 Sensor Startup
The sensor does not have a power switch, so initially it can only power up when internal batteries are inserted into the
sensor.
When the internal batteries are inserted into the sensor or the main button (V emblem on front of sensor) is pressed on the
front of the sensor, the red, blue, and green LED lights will light together for three seconds.
During this three second period, pressing the main button again turns the red LED on for two seconds and then the sensor
enters a deep sleep mode.
If the main button is not pressed and the three second time period expires, the red, blue, and green LED lights will strobe for
up to 30 seconds while the sensor tries to join the Vertiv WSN.
If the sensor is able to connect to the gateway, it will beep twice and the blue LED will turn on for two seconds to signify a
successful connection. After the sensor is connected, it will begin to send payload data to the LoRa® server on its
programmed update rate.
