4. Load cables connection of the PD400/1200DF-3-Y2, PD400/1600DF-3-Y1 DC distribution cabinet is shown in Figure 1.14.

NOTE!
1. The power cable should not be spliced and no intermediate joint is allowed. It is highly recommended that the
load cables, signal cables and user cables be wired separately to prevent them from affecting each other. 2. Before
connection, open the MCB.

Connection of battery cables
1. Prepare the battery cables, and mark the line number and the polarities of battery string 1 and battery string 2.
2. Connect one end of the battery cable to the positive and negative terminals of the fuse link of the battery string. Make a copper
lug for the other end of the cable and wrap the copper lug with insulating tape. Put them beside the battery. Connect the cables
to the battery when the DC distribution is to be initially tested, as shown in Figure 1.15.
NOTE!
1. The battery positive and negative cables should be connected to the two battery fuse links, not the single one.
2. Battery fuse link insulation panel must be reserved during installation, to avoid short circuit accident occurred when
connecting battery cables or replacing battery fuse link. Position is shown in Figure 1.15. 3. If there is only one battery
string, connect the battery cables to battery terminal 1.
