Test Scenario 3: Dual Core EPMe-42ECP - Passive and Active Performance
The active and passive performance of the Core i7 version of the Lion will typically require a heat
sink + fan for operation above 70ºC, at >90% CPU utilization. As noted in the graph below, the
CPU temperature is maintained at or below 100ºC, but the CPU is performance constricted to limit
power consumption.
