signal power. In case signal power is less than 35% it is recommended to modify the system.
Subsequent modifications to the installation location (e.g. new building modifications) may
affect the devices radio range.
8. Send SYSTEM STATUS command (see TAB.3) to check for CTH-18 status and the possible presence
of anomalies;
9. After configuration, tests and the disarming of CTH-18, send the deactivation commands
MAINTENANCE MODE and NUMBERS UNLOCK (see TAB.4).
ATTENTION : MAKE SURE TO ENABLE AT LEAST ONE TELEPHONE TO THE OPTION OF SENDING
MANAGING CONTROLS VIA SMS AND APP (SEE NUMBERS OPTIONS ON PAGE 34). IF NOT, ONCE
THE NUMBERS UNLOCK IS DEACTIVATED, IT WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE TO SEND ANY MANAGING
CONTROLS. IF IT IS NEEDED, THE NUMBERS UNLOCK CAN BE REACTIVATED BY PRESSING
BUTTONS 2 AND 3 OF THE REMOTE CONTROL SIMULTANEOUSLY. THIS PROCEDURE SETS CTH-18
IN MAINTENANCE MODE FOR 10 HOURS AND REACTIVATES NUMBERS UNLOCK FOR 30 MINUTES.
10. The mini buzzer on the terminal board can be removed.
REMOTE CONTROLS
LEARNING: to proceed with the learning of the device send the SMS “ATnn”, where “nn” stands for the
zone number to be associated to the device. For example: SMS “AT01” (to learn the remote control
in position 1). When CTH-18 receives the SMS, it emits a beep/sec for 30 seconds until the device is
connected. To proceed with the learning, you just need to press the firth button of the remote control.
One long beep, together with an SMS, confirms the correct learning. If after 30 seconds CTH-18 does
not receive any signal from the remote control to be connected, you will receive an SMS notification for
learning failure on your telephone number.
DELETION: To delete a connected remote control, proceed by sending the SMS “CTnn”, where “nn”
stands for the number selected for the remote control. For example: SMS “CT01” (to delete the remote
control from position 1). You will receive an SMS to confirm the correct deletion.
ZONES AND DEVICES
LEARNING: to proceed with the learning of the device send the SMS “ASnn”, where “nn” stands for the
zone number to be associated to the device. For example: SMS “AS01” (to learn the device in zone 1).
To learn many devices simultaneously, send the SMS “ASnn.xx”, where “nn” stands for the first zone
number to be learnt, and “xx” for the device number to be connected. When CTH-18 receives the SMS,
it emits a beep/sec for 30 seconds until the device/s is/are connected. To proceed with the learning,
you just need to press the device tamper. One long beep, together with an SMS, confirms the correct
learning. In case of many-devices learning, each beep stands for the acquisition of a single device. If
after 30 seconds CTH-18 does not receive any signal from the device to be connected, you will receive
an SMS notification for learning failure on your telephone number. After each device learning, check
for the power signal as shown in TAB.5: in case the signal power is less than 35% it is recommended
to modify the system.
