This wiring must jump the jumper J12 of PLC to COM, and Connect the + 24V and the COM terminal of the
external controller together. If you use an external power supply, the cathode of the power supply must be
connected to PLC.
d) Wiring of DO Terminal
When the digital output terminals need to drive the relay, an absorption diode shall be installed around the
relay coil. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the 24V DC power supply.
Note: The polarity of the absorption diode must be installed properly. As shown in Figure 3.9, failure to
comply will lead to burning the 24V DC power supply whenever the digital output terminal is active.
