RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE
SCHEDULE
Cleaning the exchanger:
every 6 months, preferably at the beginning
of each winter and summer season.
For normal ventilation applications, it is suf-
ficient
to clean the inlet and outlet with a
brush or water and, if necessary, a neutral
detergent. If there is a lot of dirt, you may
use compressed air or wash with a jet of
water, but only with a flat spray nozzle at a
washing pressure of no more than 100 bar.
Remember not to aim high pressure jets
directly at the plates!
After maintenance, put the heat exchan-
ger and panel back in place. Make sure to
tighten all the bolts at a torque of 25 Nm.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE EXCHANGER AND
ACCESS TO THE FILTERS FROM THE
SIDE
To remove the heat exchanger for cleaning,
remove the plastic caps on the panel of the
heat exchanger. Undo the screws in the
panel with a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the panel from the casing of the
unit and take out the heat exchanger. The
heat exchanger comprises 1/2/3 modules
and these must all be taken out for clea-
ning. Make sure not to touch the fins when
handling the heat exchangers, in order to
avoid damaging them.
