10.7 REPLACING THE CHECK VALVE «CLAPET»
To replace the valve, you must:
- Remove the nuts (1 Fig. 12).

- Fit the new valve with the hinge towards the top

fastening nuts, you will need to take the weight of the valve by pulling the tab.
10.8 SEPARATOR
To empty the separator (4 Fig. 1) - if freezing occurs or if sediments have built up - open the pump casing’s drain cover (1 Fig. 3).

10.9 VACUUM PUMP

period of time has elapsed, change the oil. Use a type of oil with a viscosity grade ISO-VG 100.
WARNING
- Maintenance on the vacuum pump must be performed with the engine-driven pump switched off.
- Take care around the vacuum pump as its surfaces get hot. Allow them to cool.
10.10 BEARINGS
The pump is supplied with ready-lubricated bearings and they do not require maintenance.
10.11 DISC COUPLING
To replace the disc coupling, remove the screws (05.4 Fig. 11), remove the screws (04.2 Fig. 11) and split the pump from the
engine. Remove the screws (05.2 Fig. 11) and replace the coupling with a new one. Work through the instructions in reverse
order for re-assembly.
10.12 DISASSEMBLING PUMP FROM SYSTEM
To disassemble the pump from the system, you must:
- Follow the procedure given in section 6.

- Remove screws fastening the pump to the base plate/trailer.
- Before lifting the pump by means of the lifting points, refer to the pump weights table.
10.13 ASSEMBLING PUMP ON SYSTEM
To assemble the pump on the system, you must:
- Lift the pump by means of the lifting points.
- Place the pump on the base plate/trailer.
- Fasten the pump to the base plate/trailer.
- Connect the pump to pipework.
- Fit any coupling guards.

11.1 ORDERING SPARE PARTS
All component parts of the «DUO JD» engine-driven pump can be ordered from the Manufacturer, specifying:
- Type of pump.
- The pump’s serial number.
- Year of manufacture.
- Serial number of the part
