OPERATING MODE:
This is the normal operating mode of the collimator. This mode is entered either through a
successful POWER ON (fully functional) or after accepting a fault condition (partly functional).
The color of the status LED is green. See §5.3 for more details about the functionality that is
available during OPERATING MODE.
ERROR MODE:
When a fault condition is detected, this mode is entered the color of the status LED is red.
Only applicable for Optica 40:
The collimator shows a message on the touch screen. The fault
conditions are indicated by a number and explained in §7.2.

NOTE:
only the first detected fault condition is displayed on the touch screen.
(not applicable for Optica 30)
NOTE:
It is important to send the following information to Varex Imaging
Nederland B.V. for analysis:
•
Error code. When the warning symbol close to the setup button is
displayed, the last displayed error message can be viewed again by
selecting the warning symbol.

POWER-OFF:
There is no shutdown procedure for the collimator. The collimator can be switched OFF at any
time without damaging the collimator by switching OFF the power supply to the collimator.
