Mounting the collimator to the X-ray tube
WARNING:
Carefully follow the collimator mounting instructions and make sure that the
collimator is correctly mounted. Incorrect mounting may lead to dangerous situations such
as falling or malfunctioning of the collimator.
It is advised to mount the collimator with the X-ray tube exit window facing upwards.
In this X-ray tube position, the mounting can be done by one person.
The following materials are needed for mounting the collimator to the X-ray tube, see also §1.8 and
Figure 5.:
1.
Mounting flange and lead insert
2.
Countersunk screws (4x)
3.
Mounting spacers (if needed, see section “mounting spacers”)
Note:
Mounting spacers, fitting the supplied mounting flange must be ordered separately.
