Tools needed to adjust sway bar arms
The tools needed to complete the
adjustment procedure include:
• (1) 14mm socket with ratchet
and (1) 14mm wrench or (2) 14
mm wrenches
• (1) 6 mm hex key or hex bit
socket with ratchet
• (1) 5mm hex key or hex bit
socket with ratchet
• Optional: (1) non-marring or
dead blow hammer.
Adjusting the suspension
The suspension can be configured to
alter the vehicle's performance on
different surfaces. The default
configuration of the suspension is set up
for best results on hard surfaces such as
dirt trails, gravel and hard packed areas.
To alter the suspension for better
performance over softer surfaces like
sand, it is recommended to turn the
sway bar linkage arm over and inward,
moving the connection to the inner
control arm bracket.
Set up for hard surfaces.
Set up for soft surfaces.
