Non-Combustible Finishing Over
Non-Combustible Board
Additional material such as tile, etc.,
may be applied over top of the non-
combustible board or you may choose to
leave it
fi
nished clean with no tile, etc.
Be aware that a trim is always required.
Finish
should not cover
the trims.
2575 Trim
Only the 2575 style trim will accept tile,
etc. tucked behind it (up to 5/8” thick for
the 2575).
2530 Trim
2530 trim must be installed
BEFORE
non-
combustible board. Non-combustible
board and
fi
nishes are applied to the
perimeter of the trim frame. Non-
combustible board and
fi
nish
CANNOT
be tucked under this trim.
Do Not Drill/Screw Areas
The face of the fi replace must not be
drilled or screwed into as shown below.
These areas house electrical and/or
control elements of the fi replace that
could be damaged and present risk of
injury.
Clean Installation Kit (2530) does not adjust
forward. Non-combustible board
fi
nishes
up to perimeter of the trim. Must be
installed
before
fi
nish.
Narrow trim (2575) can adjust up to 5/8”
forward of surface of non-combustible
board
