15. Check sensor calibration.
Installing, pressure sensor:
1.
Make sure to remove the old seal; it may still be attached to the sealing surface of
the sensor body.
2. Check the new pressure sensor to make sure that its seal ring is correctly
positioned in its groove.
3. Push the sensor through its insertion parts all the way in.
4. Screw the sensor into its hole.
5. Continue from step 5 of Installing, temperature sensor .
17.4 Measurement head (TB)
Note:
Make sure that the process pipeline is empty and not pressurized, then
unmount the sensor from the process coupling.
Removing:
For instructions on steps 1–3 see section Sensor electronics ; steps 4–7 see section
Measurement head .
1. Disconnect the sensor cable and remove sensor cover (4 screws) with a 4 mm
Allen key.
2. Disconnect all cable connectors (power, pressure sensor, temperature sensor,
antenna cables) from the electronics. Lift the cables upwards as one bundle.
Avoid bending and twisting the cables (especially the microwave antenna cables)
as much as possible.
3. Loosen the mounting screws (4 pcs) and lift the sensor electronics out.
4. Use a 10 mm fork spanner to open the screw that secures the 4-position lead-
through packing in position. Detach the cables from the packing and pull it out.
5. Loosen the mounting bolts (4 pcs) with a 6 mm Allen key.
6. Detach base plate from sensor body. Check the sealing ring in the sensor body,
replace it if necessary.
7.
Pull the sensor body and measurement head loose from each other.
