Caution.
Risk of damage from water spray.
If you fail to protect the electronics box
adequately, water can penetrate the box
during cleaning and may damage the elec-
tronics.
>
Protect the folded down electronics box
against sprayed water.
>
Remove the compact thermal module (
¬ section 12.4.1
).

Caution.
Risk of damage to the heat exchanger.

You must neither loosen nor tighten the
four screws (

).
>
Clean the heating coil (

) of the heat exchanger (

using water or, if required, commercially-available white
vinegar.
>
Allow the vinegar to act on the heat exchanger for 20
minutes.
>
Rinse away any loose dirt with a sharp jet of water or
use a plastic brush.
>
Do
not
point the water jet directly at the insulating sur-
face (

) on the back of the heat exchanger.
The water flows out of the heat exchanger through the con-
densate siphon.

As the burner (

) is maintenance-free, it does not require
cleaning.
>
Check the surface of the burner for damage.
>
If necessary, replace the burner.
