The
AUTO FLIP
function allows to follow an object which moves under the dome and goes straight. To do
this, keep the DOWN button pressed following the movement of the object.
4.4.2 ZOOM
FUNCTIONS
The dome zoom can be changed using the commands
TELE
and
WIDE
. Use
TELE
command to zoom in the
image and
WIDE
command to zoom out the image.
Zoom can be set to the values
X10
(optical) or
X10
(digital), mixed between optical and digital zoom. For
further details, see the section concerning operation modes settings.
4.4.3 FOCUS CHANGE FUNCTIONS
The dome focus can be manually changed with the commands
NEAR
and
FAR
.
Because the automatic focus function (
autofocus
function) is always enabled and active, the manual
adjustment, configured with the commands
NEAR
and
FAR
, will be active only until the user activates a pan,
tilt or zoom command. In this case, the autofocus will automatically adjust the focus.

settings.
NOTE
Autofocus
function can not operate correctly in the following cases:
The subject is not centered in the image.
There are near and distant objects.
The object is under a strong lighting.
The object is behind a glass covered with drops or dust.
The object moves very fast.
The object is under faint lighting conditions.
The object is too big in the image.
4.4.4 IRIS OPENING FUNCTIONS
The iris can be manually opened with the commands
OPEN
and
CLOSE
.
However, if the automatic iris opening option is enabled, as by default (see the menu EXPOSURE), the
manual adjustment configured with the commands
OPEN
and
CLOSE
will be active only until the user
activates a pan, tilt or zoom command. In this case, the opening will be automatically adjusted again.
