Resolution : This parameter defines how large the recorded image will be.
•
FPS : This parameter defines the number of frames per second the HVR will record.
•
Video Encode Type: For IP camera only. HVR support H.264 and H.265.
•
Bitrate Control : Select the bitrate level. For a simple scene, such as a gray wall is suitable constant bitrate
( CBR ). For more complex scene, such as a busy street is suitable variable bitrate ( VBR ).
•
Bitrate Mode: If you want to set the bitrate by yourself, then choose User-defined mode. If you want to select
the predefined bitrate, choose Predefined mode.
•
Bitrate: This parameter corresponds to the speed of data transfer that the HVR will use to record video.
Recordings that are encoded at higher bitrates, will be of better quality.
•
Audio: you can enable/disable the audio recording for reach channel.
•
I Frame-Interval (only for IP Channels) : it’s possible to set I-Frame values for IP channels.
•
ETR (only for AHD Channels Main Stream): separate settings use for motion recordings. Once ETR enabled,
the motion detection will be recorded with special resolution/framerate/bitrate as setted.
NOTE:
In CBR Predefined Bit Rate Mode the Bit rate value changes automatically and accordingly with frame rate value selected
for each Analog and IP channel with protocols different from ONVIF Protocol.
3.6.2 RECORD
This subsection describes the configuration of the recording options made available by the HVR.
3.6.2.1 Record
This menu can be opened by clicking on “Record” and used to set the HVR recording parameters:
•
Record Switch: Check to enable the recording in this channel.
•
Stream Mode: Choose the recording quality. If you choose Dualstream, the system will record in both
Mainstream & Substream.
•
PreRecord: If this option is enabled, the HVR starts recording a few seconds before an alarm event occurs. Use
this option if your primary recording type is motion or I/O alarm based.
