After the self-test, the Calibration Screen will be displayed and all of the indicator lights should be lit. The
following example shows an ideal display for the Calibration Screen.

Read the following procedures and verify the calibration values for; NO WELD Switch function, Half-
Cycle Symmetry, and Line Count. To exit the Calibration Screen and enter the RUN State, press any arrow
key.
Check Weld/No Weld Switch
Select [WELD] and then [NO WELD]. The display in the Schedule window should change to 0 and
then back to 1. If the display does not read correctly, check the wiring to switch SW1.
Half-Cycle Symmetry
The calibration value for Half-Cycle Symmetry is displayed in the Squeeze Cycles window, while the
corresponding ± sign is displayed in the Polarity window. The range of allowed values for Symmetry
Calibration is from –2 to +2, (0 ± 2). If the Symmetry Calibration does not read correctly, adjust R19 on
the Control Board. See figure 4-2.
Line Count
The calibration value for Line Count is displayed in the Weld Cycles window. The range of allowed
values for Line Count Calibration is from 179 to 203, (200 ± 3). If the Line Count Calibration does not
read correctly, adjust R36 on the Control Board.
NOTE: Only qualified technicians should attempt to adjust calibration in this unit.
The following chart indicates which Display Window is used for each Calibration Display and the
required Calibration Values.
