Waste equipment
Information on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment , according to Italian Law DLGS
151/2005 and EU legislation restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and
electric equipment (Directive 2002/95/EC) and promoting the collection and recycling of
such equipment (Directive 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/CE).
The crossed symbol fixed on the equipment or on its packing indicates that the product at the
end of its life should be collected separately from other wastes.
The separated collection of this equipment is organized and managed by the manufacturer.
The user who needs to have this equipment separately collected should get in contact with
the manufacturer and follow the arranged procedures system he will show him to allow the
separate collection of the “end of life” equipment.
The adequate separated collection for the following recycling a and waste of such equipment
contributes to have negative effects on the environment and on the health and helps the use
and /or the recycling of the material the equipment is made of.
The abusive collection of the waste product by the owner is sanctioned by the law.
