to set capacity. (However, this applies only when two UTM

units are

connected.)
Returns to indicated value display after showing "CALErr" if UTM

How to configure the UTM

Ⅱ

capacity setting target

1.

Select capacity setting mode.

Press the

→

key.

2.

Set the "UTM

Ⅱ

capacity setting target

selection".

Press the

keys and select the

target to configure (initial value: IN-1).

Press the

key to confirm and move on to zero calibration.

* Press the

key to return to indicated value display.

(2) Zero calibration

Zero point is registered without any load applied to the sensor. Furthermore, if the initial force
remains in the jig and so on when measuring, the zero point may be registered while the initial force
is being applied; however, the initial force range needs to be subtracted from the signal input range.

How to set zero calibration

1.

Select capacity setting mode.

2.

Set the "(1) UTM

capacity setting

target selection".

* Only when two UTM

Ⅱ

are connected.

3.

Perform "zero calibration".

Confirm the current force on the sub
display (driving force display side) without
any load on the sensor.

Press the

keys to select

"ZERO" and press the

key

(initial value: ESC).
Zero calibration is performed. Move on to UTM

Ⅱ

capacity setting.

* Select "ESC" and press the

key in order to move on to the UTM

Ⅱ

capacity setting

without performing zero calibration.

* Press the

key to cancel the setting and return to indicated value display.
