Correct application of anti-static technology can reduce
damages of elements and components:
1) Before connecting coaxial cable to spectrum analyzer
at the first time, make internal and external conductors of
cable separately contact with ground transiently.
2) Before contacting the core of connector or assembly,
workers must wear anti-static wristband.
3) Make sure all instruments have been correctly grounded,
so as to prevent accumulation of static.
1.3 First-time Power-on of Spectrum
Analyzer
Above anti-static measures can’t be used when voltage is
more than 500V!
UTS1000 Series Handheld Spectrum Analyzer is supplied
by power adapter or internal battery. When battery is fully
charged, internal battery can supply power for about 4
hours if spectrum analyzer works normally. Battery of
UTS1000 Series Handheld Spectrum Analyzer can’t store
power during transportation, so, such battery must be
charged before first-time use. Battery can be charged while
Before use, please firstly confirm voltage of AC power has
satisfied the requirement for input voltage of power adapter,
to avoid damage of equipment. Before putting AC plug into
instrument adapter, please firstly confirm power adapter is
qualified, or instrument may be damaged.
Before first-time start-up of instrument, AC power adapter
must be used to supply power, and get battery charged.
Otherwise, instrument may not be started or service life of
battery may be shortened.
Before start-up, please firstly connect output interface of
power adapter with power input interface
in the lower
right of instrument. After correct connection of power
power adapter provided along with equipment supplies
power to instrument.
Battery not only can be charged when instrument is power
on, but also when it is power off. Time for charging is
about 4 hours when instrument is power on or off.
