Crossed

Cable or "Crossover Cable".

It is used to connect the GD-37 directly to a computer that has

an Ethernet RJ-45 connection from the GD-37 connector marked ( ). The cable can be shielded, although it is not
essential.

5.4. GD-37 FUNCTIONS MANAGEMENT

Control, programming, verification, etc. of the GD-37 is carried out by means of a computer accessing the Webserver that the
GD-37 itself incorporates.

5.5. ETHERNET CONFIGURATION

The GD-37 can be connected to a local network using two types of connection:

5.5.1

Cable or "Patch Cable".

It is used when the GD-37 joins the local network through a router / switch /

hub or an ADSL modem / router, present in the installation and acting as Access Ports (Gateway).

This cable will be connected between the connector (

), placed on the GD-37 rear panel, and a free Ethernet port

on the router.
