6.2. SYSTEM NETWORK
Esta página permite la configuración de la interfaz de red del GD-37.
When the GD-37 is connected to a router (Gateway), the default configuration of the Local Network (IP) should be AUTO. This
configuration is based on the automatic network address assignment, following the standard DHCP protocol, every time a
new element wants to connect to the network. This is the easy configuration mode (valid for most installations) and does not
require to consult with your local network administrator.
In complex installations, the network administrator may require the use of specific IP addresses, called fixed addresses, for
each of the devices that want to connect to the network. In this case, the GD-37 must be configured in "
MANUAL " mode.
The " MANUAL " mode must also be used when you wish to connect the GD-37 directly to a computer using a "Crossover
Type" cable (See section 5.5 Ethernet Configuration).
When the manual mode is selected, you must specify the rest of the parameters and press the " SAVE NETWORK " button to
save; if you do not have enough information, it is recommended to contact your local network administrator to provide them
(See section 5.5 Ethernet Configuration).
Don't forget to press the " SAVE NETWORK " button to save the changes you have made. The changes will take effect the next
time the GD-37 is started up.
CAUTION : Incorrect settings may cause the GD-37 to lose network connectivity. If you are in doubt about the settings, do
not hesitate to contact your network administrator.
