TWITE INSTRUMENTS

THERMOSTAT MODEL TD-196 OPERATING MANUAL

ERROR MESSAGES

If this is displayed it means that the calibration values are corrupt or have been
altered. The alarm will be active

(on)

and all controls will be turned off.

To correct the alarm fault use the previous functions "CALIBRATE VALUES
CHECK & ALTER" first to check that all values for all channels are correct

(if a

copy of the values was kept, use them.).

After this has been done use the "CALI-

BRATE VALUES UPDATE" function to enter all values for the check sum and
corruption testing.

If this is displayed it means that the check sum check on all set points while the unit
was running

(and was not reset by the watch dog,  independent timer for the micro-

processor run time check )

is corrupt. The alarm will sound and all controls will be

turned off.

To rectify this alarm condition CHECK ALL set points to make sure that they are
valid and correct. The alarm indication will cease when the first set point is checked
but all set points must be checked as the first set point checked may not be the one
that was corrupt.

If this is displayed it means that the check sum check on all set points while the unit
was running

(and was reset by the watch dog,  independent timer for the microproc-

essor run time check )

is corrupt. The alarm will sound and all controls will be

turned off.

To rectify this do as the above routine

(check all set point parameters).
