4. Montage der Terminal-Rückwand (

Wandmontage auf zweiteilige Einbaudose.

Vorbereitung: Idealerweise das Ethernet-Kabel von unten in die
Einbaudose einführen und ein Keystone-Modul mit RJ45-Buchse
für die Verbindung nutzen. Diese RJ45-Buchse muss über das
kurze Patchkabel [12] an die RJ45-Buchse auf dem Anschlussfeld
des ComTerminals
IP
angeschlossen werden. Das Keystone-Mo-
dul ist nicht im Lieferumfang des ComTerminals
IP
enthalten.
1. Einen Stecker des kurzen Patchkabels [12] in die RJ45-Buchse
des Keystone-Moduls stecken. Adern der übrigen Kabel vor-
bereiten (siehe Abschnitt „7. Anschließen am Anschluss-
feld“).
2. Das kurze Patchkabel [12] und die vorbereiteten Adern
durch den Ausbruch in der Terminal-Rückwand [10] führen.
3. Terminal-Rückwand [10] mit den Schrauben [11] der Einbau-
dose auf der Einbaudose [8] festschrauben.
4. Adern am Anschlussfeld der Terminal-Rückwand [10] gemäß
Abschnitt „7. Anschließen am Anschlussfeld“ anschließen.
5. Den zweiten Stecker des Patchkabels [12] in die RJ45-Buchse
auf dem Anschlussfeld einstecken.

Wenn die Montage auf einer Einbaudose nicht
möglich ist, kann das ComTerminal
IP
mit Schrauben und Dübeln
an der Wand befestigt werden, wobei dieselben Bohrungen in
der Terminal-Rückwand benutzt werden.
4. Mounting the pattress (
fig. B)

Preparation: Ideally, insert the Ethernet cable into the back box
from below and use a Keystone module with RJ45 jack for the
connection. The RJ45 jack must be connected to the RJ45 socket
on the connection field of the ComTerminal
IP
via the short patch
cable [12]. The keystone module is not included in the scope of
delivery of the ComTerminal
IP
.
1. Insert one plug of the short patch cable [12] into the RJ45
jack of the Keystone module. Prepare the wires of the other
cables (see section “7. Connecting to the connection field”).
2. Feed the short patch cable [12] and the prepared wires
through outlet in the pattress [10].
3. Fix the pattress [10] using the back box screws [11] to the
back box [8].
4. Connect the connection wires to the connection field in the
pattress [10] according to section “7. Connecting to the con-
nection field”.
5. Insert the second plug of the patch cable [12] into the RJ45
socket on the connection field.

If mounting on a back box is not possible, the ComTer-
minal
IP
may be fixed to the wall with dowels and screws using
the same holes in the pattress.
5. Montage des Terminal-Frontteils (
Abb. C)
1. Terminal-Frontteil [14] oben auf die Terminal-Rückwand
[10] aufsetzen, so dass ein Scharnier [13] entsteht.
2. Das Terminal-Frontteil mit leichten Druck (Glasbruchge-
fahr!) auf die Terminal-Rückwand herunterdrücken, bis die
Rastnase [15] einrastet.
3. Zur Sicherung kann die Sicherungsschraube [16] unten in die
Bohrung unterhalb der gelben Taste eingedreht werden.
5. Mounting the front panel (
fig. C)
1. Place front panel [14] onto the top of the pattress [10] creat-
ing a hinge [13].
2. Press the front panel downwards onto the pattress with low
pressing power (glass!) until the catch [15] engages.
3. For improved security the security screw [16] can be fitted
into the hole below the yellow presence button.
